CIShaper is an interactive tool designed to help you explore the concepts of confidence intervals. You can use this app to visualize confidence intervals for different sample sizes, means, and standard deviations. It also allows you to simulate multiple samples and observe how many confidence intervals contain the true population mean.
This app has been developed by Thisaakhya Jayakody and Paul Fijn in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Melbourne using the R Shiny framework with the aim of making the understanding of statistical concepts more interactive and engaging.
This app was inspired by StatPlay Version 1.0 Release 23 (1997) by G.Cumming, S.Finch, J.Les, R.Maillardet, N.Thomason and J.Zhang.
